Voces de Melleray A Living Record of the People, Places and Moments
Fall 2026 |
Each Story Card
records something of a contributors time at Mount Melleray. Students,
staff and visitors may use their cards to share photographs, observations,
projects, memories and reflections. A card
may include a name or first name, a short introduction, journal entries, Abbey
or travel photographs, a memorable quotation, links to videos, Media Lab
stories, a personal project or website, and perhaps a final reflection at the
end of the semester or visit. |
There is no
required formula. Some cards may remain simple; others may grow into
substantial visual journals, which may link to another page.
Send your story to the Media Lab. The Lab
crew can prepare your Story Card or show you how to build it yourself. The
moderator may at times post cards of general interest. Send your material or
questions to VJ@MediaLab-MMA.com

Vic (VJ) Farmer Media Lab Coach and Story
Moderator After fifty years of creating
content, I am exploring AI as a necessary tool for journalism. The Abbey offers
nearly limitless opportunities to combine images, research and writing.
As social media becomes more complex and new
publishing options emerge rapidly, an essential new skill is learning how to
adapt the same underlying story for different platforms and audiences.
